You can quote & reply here perhaps? I can open the previous thread if it's needed but they are usually closed when new chapters come out in routine to avoid spoilers for next chapters in previous thread.

Only real Licht, at the moment, I suppose. He hasn't made any move. It's PtolLie aka the fake Licht causing this chaos. In the long run it has to be Asta and friends.

Like we thought Fake Licht indeed resurrected his elf friends using elf-vessels(?) in the country. Didn't thought Luck would also be one of them. So now..... they are gonna attack the Clover Kingdom or are they gonna retreat for a time being?. Can't wait to see.... the transformation of current Liar into his real self. Gotta see how powerful he actually is!.

I think Yuno might resist the transformation at some point of manga if not in upcoming chapters. And where is Nero?. What if Nero is the First Wizard King's reincarnation?. Nero might stop the advancing of Elves into the Clover Kingdom. Comeon Tabata... show us Nero ~

Chapter is short. I take it that the author is unable to cope up with his weekly schedule per se 19 pages a chapter.

Like we thought Fake Licht indeed resurrected his elf friends using elf-vessels(?) in the country. Didn't thought Luck would also be one of them. We know Fana was cured so others can be too but it would be a tough task to rescue so many people from elf spirits.

It's such a chaos that unless the real Licht decides to retreat for whatever reason almost everyone is in trouble. Luck, Marie and Gauche, Lil, almost everyone from golden dawn barring the royals - the most powerful of the kingdom everywhere are now enemies.

With the stakes so high, dunno what they would do next..

I expected as much, though I never thought that many people would be hosts. We had a handful of characters that were hinted to be likely hosts and by virtue of being chosen by Vengeance, everyone of the Golden Dawn was potentially a host, but at this point almost all the high-class mages have been converted...except Aster and all the royalty.

I think they were possessed because of the black marks on their faces which didn't use to be on the original elvish faces. They seem to indicate that elves are in control of those bodies. +
because Patollie seem to be using the stone tablet to amplify that very magic, he used for Fana..

But you have a point, this " reincarnation" part needs some explanation.

Patollie was reincarnated in weird way- human who looked like Licht and at some point gained his own 4 leaf grimoire with light magic, separate from William's leaf one. He couldn't even use William's. Yet, Fana possession whom Patollie revived could use Fana's grimoire and power - didn't show any other. But Liar and Vetto used their own. It's kind of messed up.

It is not the elf spirits I think that are possessing Klaus, Gauche, Luck, Yuno....etc.,. I think they are the reincarnations. And what's more the elves are using the exact same magic as their human counterparts, Cauche in particular makes that very clear as his magic is rather characteristic.

Granted we do not know what reincarnation means in BC verse, so far it seems like possession to me at this point.

The elves didn't have the facial marks when they were alive + Fana

Fana had survive fighting Mars due to her healing ability but not recovered enough for further enhancements. She was thrown out to he fate when Patollie found her

Patolllie used Fana to revive an elf of the same name. But not once he talked about memories.

He said he put some other worldly mana when reviving Liar but not having enough to revive others and mentioned tablet and stones to complete the task.

But if these people were indeed elves reincarnation we need more of their memories and them reacting somewhat differently from each other with more of individual personalities, despite their possible common anger at humans.

Yep. I read it again.... I too noticed it now. Their magic is same but their personalities differed. I guess eventhough they are reincarnated in this generation.... their Grimoires didn't manifested. Because they are dead at that time and the Grimoire returned to the Grimoire Palace(?) and re-formed again for a new owner...........

wait.. wait.... Now that we put it like this about Grimoires... Actually so far from the manga.. we knew that.. A Mage gets chosen by a Grimoire. It becomes their own grimoire such that no one other than the owner be able to use it. After they dies.... the Grimoire disappears along with them. It maybe kinda goes down the cycle of reincarnation or whatever in Grimoire Tower and gets reformed. And it waits for its next chosen mage.

But what about Asta's Grimoire. That wasn't a new one or doesn't look like a one that is reformed after the death of Real Licht. We all knew Real Licht is dead during that ambush several years ago. If that is the case then how come his Grimoire is as old as him?

Maybe it is Tabata who is changing his initial designs from then to now. Yeah.... true agreed. I am still wondering about what would happen to Asta tho. We only saw the Glimpse of Yuno in this chapter. Can't wait. I guess Friday can't come soon enough!.
