Honestly, I'm not convinced people really care that she is black more so than they care that she isn't hot. Starfire was really hot and this lady isn't from that one picture. If she was as attractive as she is in the comments, even if she was black, I think it would have been a lesser issue.

Actually, I was trying to make the point that no a single effing human female can fill this role and have people happy. You will basically need a porn star to have the body proportions. Also, to show that every iteration looks completely different.

The black actress, Anna Diop, def can play her, Its just that her stylist was a mess. Maybe this isn't her final look, its probably one of many looks for her to fit in on earth. Like her skintone is so beautiful it just looks as if it absorbs sun.

That shade of red isn't her color, nor is that purple. What they shouldve did was given her a bronzer to empahsize her undertones, maybe purple undertones even.

But if you extend the curl, her hair is the same length as Comic book starfire.

Her finished look has been in promo, and looks about as Starfire-ish as can be. The outcry is very much about race at this point. I agree that picture is atrocious, but so are most off guard out of context shots in 10 degree weather.
