Have you ever believed in the saying that if a bird flies into your home that someone will die? I never believed in something as silly as this, but a bird did fly into my house twice and two of my family members did die a few months after it happened. My grandfather and one of my distant relatives(never even knew her) met with death, so I won't say that I believe in it, but it is an interesting thing that has been on my mind.

Its all superstition. I remember reading an article once about how superstitions work. It seems that if you truly believe that something will happen or think about it that it becomes true in your reality. For example, say if you didn't know about the superstition that if birds fly in your home that someone will die. Would you still consider it to be a possibility? Anything that can happen will happen. There are so many possibilities of anything happening that eventually people find what is comfortable for them to accept.

pretty sure a few months after already disproves any correlation. That's like saying "step on a crack break your mothers back" and you step on one then 5 months later she breaks her back, that's no relation between the two events.

What kind of birds? If they aren't crows, then nah. Crows are the birds with the most relation to superstitious stories that I know of.
And i believe in what AnimusOra says which is why I'm glad you'll hardly find crows in my place. If there are, i'm not confident enough in my mental strength to help me believe the stories about crows are all lies xD.

It's just superstition, of course. Probably rooted in the facts that birds can carry lice and leave those nasty droppings, neither of which are beneficial to humans.
