How do identify yourself, racially?

Me for example:

My mother's mother & father are from India but she was born & raised in Jamaica.

My father was born & raised in Trinidad but his mother is Chinese still his father is from the island.

I identify myself as Rasta' (African American).

I rarely even stand still and think of my racial backgrounds.
My mum looks partially native american and partially caucasian. Which she is. Dutch and south american.
My dad is dominican so also native american.

I just see myself as dutch. Idc about the rest.

It is about birth place in places ethnicities are mixed a lot and you don't know much about your background. Humans are portable and race does not equal the location.

Dad is black and Indian, mom is black, so I'm also black and Indian. However, the Indian doesn't show much, I don't know much about the culture because only a small part of my family is Indian, so I identify as black.
