In the Naruto RP, you are able to create a biography that spans from having no additional ability outside of the Basics ( and not even all of them ), to having elaborate biographies with multiple abilities on it. In the past, certain combinations were banned while others where allowed. In these updated rules, everything that will be capable will be shown below. Of course, this comes with it's own limitations. Certain combinations are allowed while others are not, but now it is able to be seen clearer for the first time.

LEGEND:

In case this chart seems to complicated, there's a simplified list at the bottom, color coded to match the chart.

Hidden Abilities:

  • HAs can have one Advanced Ninjutsu and one Mode (any choice).
Example: Hozuki + Sound + SM

Advanced Elements

  • Advanced Elements can have one Advanced Ninjutsu and one Mode (excluding Sage Mode)
Example: Blast + Rain + EIG

Kekkei Genkai:
  • KGs can have one Advanced Ninjutsu and one Mode (excluding EIG)
  • Mangekyou and higher Doujutsu bios cannot have Sage Mode.
Example: MS Sharingan + Sound

Custom Clans:
  • CCs can have one Advanced Ninjutsu OR one Mode. EIG can only be put on clan bios that don't use Natural energy.
  • Alternatively, if the user does not have a KG, KE, HA, or CC bio, he is able to have two Advanced Ninjutsu on one bio

Example: Gyojin + EIG or a Kisei + SM


Dual Abilities:


In addition to these primary combinations, there are additional pairings that have now become available to utilize. These pairings called Dual Abilities are the result of having two parents with different skills, both passed down to your biography. This allows bios to have a Kekkei Genkei as well as an Advanced Element, or a Hiden Ability paired with a Kekkei Genkei. Because of this powerful potential, having Dual Abilities prevents one from having any AN or Mode. There are three different type of Dual Abilities, each with this same restriction:
  • KG + HA
  • KG + AE
  • AE + HA
Due to the nature of the Doujutsu themselves, one cannot pair any Mangekyo or Higher level Sharingan with a HA/AE, nor can Tenseigan.

Below is a full list of abilities obtainable in the RP, not including the various Customs System. Note that Universal Skills are just that, universal and able to be placed on any bio should requirements be met. Specific Character Rules can be found by clicking each character's name.

Bio Specialties

In order to make specialties more meaningful and useful, the RP Staff got together and created benefits for specializing in specific fields unlike before. These specialties, applied towards specific fields, allow one to use them better than one without said Specialty. Divided into 4 types ( Primary, Secondary, Apex and Extra ), members are able to have one of each on their bios. In special occasions, one can have multiple from one type but each Specialty can only be had once. The three current possible Specialty Paths one can take are laid out below:

Select:

2 Primary + 1 Secondary, in addition to 1 Extra AND 1 CFS specialties.

or

1 Primary + 2 Secondary, in addition to 1 Extra AND 1 CFS specialties.

or

1 Primary + 1 Secondary + 1 Unique, in addition to 1 Extra AND 1 CFS specialties.

Primary Specialties are your first and normal Specialty; every bio has one of this regardless of your layout type.
Secondary Specialties are extra enhancements in a field, sometimes coupled with your Primary for added strength/benefit, but is not required.
A Unique Specialty can only be applied to a Specialty Class you already have a Primary or Secondary Specialty for. An example being Apex Warrior requiring any Taijutsu Class specialty first.
Extra Specialties apply towards the different Advanced Ninjutsus/Universal Skills and require the user to have one of them before it can be chosen for their bio.
CFS Specialties are generally the perks associated with specializing in a single CFS.

Primary Specialties​

Single Handseal Specialist:

You can perform techniques of the skill you chose to specialize in by performing a single ( 1 ) handseal, that is still double-handed except when specifically stated otherwise in the technique. This can be applied to Advanced and Custom Elements that are composed of basic elemental affinities.

Personal Summoning Specialist:

You can have one custom contracted animal with you at all times. Whether it be from Canon or Custom Contracts, you have the monopoly of that summon, and other users of the contract may not utilize it when facing you in battle, or in the NW until your defeat.

Shadow Clone Specialist:

You can have Shadow Clones and variants that return up to 50% more chakra when dispersed. This also allows you to create 1 more Shadow Clone than normal.

Increased Tracking Specialist:

The user gains enhanced senses, tracking up to 1.5x faster.
Increased Speed Specialist:

Your base speed is increased by 1 additional level. This makes your movement faster than those of your rank. This increase stacks on with Active speed increases such as Leg Weights or Eight Gates.
Damage Resistance:

Your body is capable of reducing E rank damage ( 10 damage ) from Ninjutsu/Taijutsu attacks, from physical elements and ninjutsu skills and taijutsu skills that you specialize in.

Combat Specialist:

Limited to Taijutsu related Specialties. Kenjutsu and Taijutsu increases passively by 10 damage.
Kenjutsu Specialist:

The user becomes so skilled in Kenjutsu, his strikes all carry increased range, working up to 1 range further than normal. This applies for none elemental Kenjutsu only.

Genjutsu Range Specialist:

You can perform Genjutsu with one extra range added on. This does not apply to Genjutsu that are able to prevent at least two forms of Genjutsu Break.

Genjutsu Defense Specialist:

Limited to Genjutsu-related specialist. You can have a Genjutsu immunity of up to C rank, being immune to basic Genjutsu of that rank and lower.

Genjutsu Casting Specialist:

Limited to Genjutsu-related specialist. You are able to cast Genjutsu with only 1 seal, lowering the requirements for casting to just 1 seal unless specific triggers are required.

Secondary Specialties​

Increased Elemental Specialist:

You can perform techniques of a second element with faster seals and halved handseals, if more than 3 seals ( 4 and up ).

Sourceless Materializing Specialist:

You can materialize your element or skill you specialize in without needing a source. Likewise, you can sustain creations of the element without limiting yourself, such as creation of S rank Earth Golem and allowing it to exist without sustaining it on your own. This is done by adding 1 handseal to the necessary total.
Naturalist Summoning Specialist:

You may produce the same special skills as the animals of the contracts you've signed (e.g., Toad oil, Spider silk, snake venom, etc ).
Efficient Chakra Control Specialist:

You can utilize the element or skill you specialize in more chakra efficient way, by spending 10 less chakra than stated while maintaining it's useability.

Increased Damage Resistance:

Your body is capable of reducing D rank damage ( 20 damage ) from Ninjutsu/Taijutsu attacks, from physical elements and ninjutsu skills and taijutsu skills that you specialize in.

Increased Combat Specialist:

You are capable of increasing your freeform Tai/Kenjutsu damage to 10.

Increased Speed Specialist:

Your base speed is increased by 2 additional levels. This makes your movement faster than those of your rank. This increase stacks on with Active speed increases such as Leg Weights or Eight Gates.

Increased Tracking Specialist:

Your tracking capabilities become more advanced, allowing you to have x2 tracking speeds.

Increased Genjutsu Defense Specialist:

You can have a Genjutsu immunity of up to B rank, being immune to basic Genjutsu of that rank and lower.

Genjutsu Layering Specialist:

Limited to Genjutsu-related Specialties. You can Multi-layer up to 2 Genjutsu within the same time frame, AA rank combination.

Advanced Kenjutsu Specialist:

Swordsmen who have excelled are capable of gaining access to Iaido based Samurai techniques.

Unique Specialties​

Apex Handseal Specialist:

Limited to Ninjutsu Specialties. You can perform techniques of the skill you chose to specialize in without the usage of handseals, though you must still perform complimentary and logical body movements related to the technique.

Apex Summoning Specialist:

Limited to Ninjutsu Specialties. Can summon animals from both contracts in battle plus have a second personal summoning (human-sized at most).

Apex Clone Specialist:
Limited to Ninjutsu-related Specialties. You can have Shadow Clones and variants that return up to 75% more chakra when dispersed. This also allows you to utilize the Forbidden Shadow Clone jutsu without requiring Kinjutsu.


Apex Tracker Specialist:

Limited to Tracking Specialties. With more heightened senses, the user is capable of gaining a now increased x2.5 tracking.

Apex Speed Specialist:

Limited to Tracking Specialties. Your base speed is increased by 4 additional levels. This makes your movement faster than those of your rank. This increase stacks on with Active speed increases such as Leg Weights or Eight Gates.

Apex Warrior Specialist:

Limited to Taijutsu Specialties. An expert in hand to hand, the user's freeform damage gains the ability to deal 15 damage.

Apex Kenjutsu Specialist:

Limited to Taijutsu specialties. The user has the ability to use two sword based CW in one fight.

Apex Layering Specialist:

Limited to Genjutsu-related Specialties. You can Multi-layer up to 2 Genjutsu within the same time frame, SA rank combination.

Apex Range Specialist:

Limited to Genjutsu-related Specialties. You can perform any Genjutsu up to long range away. This does not apply to Genjutsu that are able to prevent at least two forms of Genjutsu Break.

Extra Specialties




Yin Specialist:
Users will gain heightened spiritual abilities translating into an awareness of all genjutsu and spiritual entities below MS level and passive genjutsu kai up to B-rank. As well, Yin user's genjutsu give them heightened genjutsu prowess, allowing them to render their genjutsu techniques unbreakable by one of the primary methods of release (to be specified during the move). The user's chakra siphoning abilities becomes stronger allowing them to passively siphon 30 chakra per turn from enemies.

Yang Specialist:
Users will gain heightened vitality translating to 1000 chakra increase to their natural reserves. As well, their physical durability increases significantly, allowing them to reduce up C-rank damage (30 dmg) from physically damaging techniques like any nin, tai, and kenjutsu. As well, they are immune to recoil damage from techniques that cause it like Forbidden, though they still succumb to the jutsu's other subscribed affects.
Yin-Yang Specialist:
The user becomes able to specialize in both component elements of Yin-Yang with their benefits under one Extra Specialty slot and becomes able to passively sense chakra and it's nature, as well as identify different chakra signatures OR The user becomes capable of having a second primary affinity ( 2 elements of the basic 5 which can be used with one handseal ) alongside their original Yin or Yang Release specialty along with greater chakra control that allows them to use less chakra (-10 up to B-rank, -15 for A-rank and above) for all non Yin/Yang Release specific techniques.

The Undead:
The user is capable of moving and RPing still even if reduced to 0 chakra or 0 health. His health and chakra must both reach 0 for him to be considered incapacitated. This doesn't allow him to continue battling, however. It only applies to normal RPing, not having to wait until his health reaches 40 to mobilize. Must have Jashinist AN.


Sage Master:
The user is able to enter Sage Mode passively, no longer counting towards their allowed moves per turn OR the user is able to gain 20% more chakra when entering Sage Mode.

Lifeline
The user starts with a 25% health increase, allowing the user to start fights with more health OR The user starts with a 25% chakra increase, allowing the user to start fights with more chakra. [Does nor combine with other base chakra/health increases]

Seal Caster:
You Can have up to 1 Extra Body Seal on your bio OR you can use Barriers with 10 less chakra. [Cant combine with other Fuuin based Specialties].

Necromancer:
You are able to summon 1 Extra Edo Tensei reanimation for a max of 2 per battle, or all 3 if Orochimaru and Kabuto OR you can use Oral Rebirth 1 additional time.

Doctor
You can regenerate an extra +5 health for 10 per day OR you can use 1 additional canon Medpill before the effects set in.

King Cobra:
The user is able to release poisons from their own body similar to snakes, being capable of releasing Poisons from their mouths or through spit without need for seals.

Dispatch:
The user is capable of using Inner Sonar passively, capable of hearing things as if they were through a dispatch to prevent loud sounds from being damaging.

Geppeto:
The user can have 1 more puppets available in battle of up to A rank OR the user's is capable of using Autonomous Puppets.

Rainman:
A cloud of rain forms wherever the user is stationed after 2 turns passively. This causes it to rain 2 turns after the user arrives anywhere OR the user's Rain Jutsu require half the chakra to use, excluding Forbidden ranks.

Sixth Sense:
The user's senses are enhanced, allowing any and all sensing based abilities to be extended 2 ranges or 2 additional landmarks if it covers a landmark OR the user is able to sense with no chakra cost

Artist:
The user is capable of using Ink techniques without having to physically draw them on objects, just in the air OR the user's ink creation resemble actual creatures and objects, allowing them to appear realistic

Smoke Screen:
The user's Body of Smoke state becomes one rank stronger by default, not counting as a boost

Total Mayhem:
The user becomes immune to their own explosions from the Gum of up to B rank.
