[Question] Bio permissions

So I'm coming up on 50 posts and want to make a bio. Anywho, the bio I want is alrady taken. I ask permission from the person with the earliest approved bio of that character, right?

If its a cannon bio, then you don't need permission. If its a custom one, then yes, you need permission
