[Suggestion] Bio Designer Section

Hello,

I got a suggestion to make as you already noticed.... Since the RPG Biographies section got divided from Konoha Town. It would be useful for the two Bio Shops to move theirs shops to the RPG Biographies section or just create a new section in it only specially for creating bios. If a new section cannot be made, the two bio shops could be stickied or something... So it would be easy for those people who seek bios for other people to make.

Well, I disagree. I don't think a entire sub forum should be made solely for bio shops. That would be a waste of forum space as there are only around what, 6 or 7 bio shops? Even if more, an entire section would be pointless as the Konoha Town section can be used for that. Also, not all bio shops have been using correct layouts so to make a new subsection would likewise increase the amounts of poorly formatted bios with some things missing, making them more prone to being declined as well as making Cali a bit ticked that the bios are wrong, even if a bit. I'd say more, but I thinking. Made my point.

I guess that would be useful, but there's no harm with keeping it in the RP KonohaTown

Uhm well. Why not have one huge bio shop thread in the section, like an official one. Caliburn can approve bio makers for that thread, instead of have like 10 bio shops >_>. That way proper bios can be created for new rpers.

1) There are more than two bio shops and making a sticky out of all of them is out of the question and only sticky one is unfair for the others.

2) I just separated Non-Naruto RP from the Naruto RP and as a result a hell of a lot space became free in the KT main section. The entire point of that section is to gather RPers, post recruitment threads, shops or whatever, so you do it there. That KT is not anymore directly with the bio sections is irrelevant as bio shops are made on the initiative of the members' themselves and aren't official.

3) And entire RP subsection just for bio shops is a complete waste.

4) I have more a dislike for bio shops than affinity as they are in many cases a complete pain. The amount of time I lost editing bios because some self-proclaimed bio shop owner screwed over the template is high. More than once I had a cynical laugh when I saw someone saying 'credits to X for making this bio' which made me think 'did you now actually need someone to make this sad excuse for a bio?'. It happened a few times that I say someone needs to change something in the bio as it's simply not approvable and what do they reply? "I don't know how, I didn't make the bio." =/

I find many bio shop owners irresponsible. IMO every new RPer should make his first few bios himself. Even if they screw up completely, at least they learn that way how to make a basic bio. Not to mention regularly the basic template is more organized than these bios from shops.

I'm not going to make 'one whole bio shop' either. I'm not going to waste my time with something like that when KT is perfectly suited for such threads and it is also unfair for other people who want to make bios as that idea implies that other people are not allowed to do it anymore other than in that thread. I might add a [Shop] prefix or something, but that's as far as it goes.
