So it has occured to me that TBB is just a large version of Rasengan

The key difference is the concentration of positive and negative chakra. Which has been fully explained to us, the difference between them.

But, I'm assuming everyone has this base knowledge already.

However, given the recent feat of the Juubi

And Naruto's previous feat

It would seem as though physical strength is enough to redirect a bijuudama. (However, it's also possible more is involved, if you think it is I'm curious to know your ideas about it.) So do you think the same could be done to a Rasengan?
If the Bijuudama is just grinding power, if only a partial hit is accomplished do you think it can be survivable?

rasengan is not a smaller version of tbb! it is made up of only positive chakra. The tbb is a mix of negative and positive chakra that is all. Size does not matter, we have seen naruto shoot a spirit bomb rasengan against pain

bijuu dama is supposed to explode when it touches anything, but plot no jutsu trolled it twice: once to make naruto look cool by deflecting the ones that were targeting kakashi and gai and the second this time,a huge troll.

Physical strength can't redirect a Bijuudama, only those with Bijuu chakra was shown to redirect it.

What's weird concerning BijuuDamas is that sometimes you see them as a ball, but other times it looks like this

So maybe it depends on the TBB formation in question, but anyway i don't believe physical strength can redirect TBB

Don't know I would think a Biju ball would explode once it touches something. I wonder why Bee didn't flick his own Biju dama away from him

No physical strength alone is not possible to redirect a bijuudama unless of course you want to try to come to a conclusion that Tsunade can do so which given your previous track record, seems like you are heading into that sort of conclusion.

I think a TBB explodes while the rasengan grinds the enemy. As for a partial hit occurring, I think someone with an extremely powerful defence or healing ability could potentially survive it as long as they dodge the main impact.

Only Naruto and the Jubi can redirect TBB since they have more bijuu chakra than the TBB they redirect.
