How exactly does bijuu summoning work?
We now know that bijuus can be summoned.
So the question is are they summoned with their kinds of animal? For instance, is it a fox contract that allows the nine tails to be summoned?
Are they summoned with all other bijuus? So if you can summon one bijuu can you summon all bijuus?
Or are they summoned each individually require a contract with each of them?
It would seem for me that the first option is most likely considering Son Goku said he is the King of Apes. This would imply that he lived with the other apes and not the other bijuu before being sealed. Granted, he was once a part of the juubi, he got his own individual identity afterwards. Furthermore, based on our understanding of the way summoning works, one would need to get the contract in order to sign it. The animal whose contract it is would have to allow you to write on the contract and then not want to kill you when it gets there. It would seem to me for example old Kurama would never have let anyone touch his contract, much less sign it. I think he would destroy it before he willingly let Madara write his name on it. However, if a lower fox allowed Madara to sign it this entire problem is done away with. Similar to how Gamabunta would have flipped ship if he knew Jiraiya had planned on Naruto summoning toads, especially him the boss toad. Thus a lesser toad held the contract and produced it for Naruto to sign without Gamabunta's consent. So considering that it seems that the tailed beast are based off animals unlike the juubi, and they seem to live with the animals they are like, and a contract is necessary and none of the tailed beast seem like they would create a contract much less let people sign it, it would seem that there is another way to get their contract. Thus, I believe they are summoned like regular animals
