how did obito...... well that's who i will use for now survive a rasengan on the face,tell me how. because naruto's bijuu mode rasengan is way more powerful than the normal one. just tinking

God knows. Well Kishi does anyway. We couldn't have the big shock of seeing Obito standing there if his head was smushed everywhere.

as the story progresses attacks are scaled down, it is forgotten that the rasengan kills all cells. just like in DBZ the explosions started to get smaller as the story got further

I reckon the mask is super hard. Naruto ran head first into it then commented on how hard the mask is (Kishi's way of explaining its durability). It probably took a good portion of the blow. Also was that Rasengan really stronger than the normal one? I thought he used a regular one on Tobi in the other dimension? I'll recheck.

Well actually that looked like a regular rasengan. The beast bomb is bigger and deadlier. Plus, when you go to war i'm sure if you're wearing a mask, you'll make it out of the most strongest material ever. (metal, rock, etc. watever, you get my point)

The mask is made of some ultra-strong material.whose composition and other properties are unknown,and will probably remain so.
The real question is how did only Tobi's sleeve get blown off after being hit with the same bijuu mode rasengan,and not his whole arm?

if u recall, kakashi asked naruto reduce d intensity of his attacks n also u smaller jutsus, so it wasnt a 'powerful' rasengan.
