I recently seen a thread where it was said that naruto stands no chance against Hashirama because he would get his bijuu chakra supressed and the match would be over after that. I dont think thats true, and i think that SOME people (not all) really try to underestimate Bijuu Modes true capabilities. So I am goin to attempt to elighten anyone I can.
1. Set up - The first thing i wanna point out is the set up and Naruto's position inside his Bijuu Chakra Cloak. It is very similar to this
White Ranger - Kurama inside naruto
Red Ranger - Bijuu Naruto
Blue Ranger - Sage Naruto
Now you can basically call the other rangers his clones, but thats just a basic setup.
2. Sensory Capabilities - If you place a Kyuubi Naruto right beside sage naruto then you can call him the black ranger. If you go back to the picture, notice how The blue and black ranger are reading scaners, that is the same ability of the SM and KM clones.
Sage Mode - Ability to detect and identify other people's chakra from very long distances. His sensing abilities have also enabled him to predict the movements of his enemies for easy retaliation. With his sensing abilities, he could pinpoint the Chakra Receivers that were on Tobi's tailed beast Six Paths of Pain.
Kyuubi Mode - Kurama has the ability to sense negative emotions such as hatred and killing intent of any individual around it. When Naruto achieved the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, he in turn gained this ability, aptly displayed when he uncovered Kisame Hoshigaki hiding within Samehada, even though Kisame and the sword both shared the same chakra signature.
This proves that with them beside naruto he can sense anything and everything on the battlefield. BM naruto also having sensory ability's. This also helps prove that naruto can tell the diffrence between clones and actual opponent. No ninja could hide from naruto, and because of SM he will know what there intentions are.
3. Supression - Now it is not fully clear whether it is actually possible to supress a perfect jinchuriki, because their chakra is melded together. But for those of you who like to ASSUME that it is possible i want to show you why it perhaps wouldnt work on naruto.
With the set up i showed you naruto has 3 seperate chakra sources. He Has:
His own Chakra source which is mixed with Kurama's
He has a completely seperate chakra source that triggers Kyuubi mode
Which he states is COMPLETELY Separate from his own. But for those who still think its all the same her is another diagram.
And he also has a Natural chakra source
Now even if Hashirama or Yamato tried to suppress naruto they could only supress the BM chakra. And the Only supression techinique that we have seen in the anime is Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique โ Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands.
And like Itachi said, every techinique has a weakness. From how we've seen this techinque being used, i'd say that the downfall it that you have to touch the target, you are left wide open when you perform it, and its not instant (it takes a while to complete). So what stops KM naruto or SM naruto from using FRS on his oppenent when they try to supress BijuuMode? NOTHING!!!!
4. Conclusion - There is alot more that can be said about Bijuu Mode, but in regards to Hashirama supressing naruto and Match being over, that is faulty. Naruto can Sense hashirama coming from a mile away, and Hashirama has to touch naruto to supress him (naruto is concealed in a ckakra cloak). If hashirama does manage to touch him we would have a FRS following right behind him. But im tired of writing now. If theres anything else i need to state ill just say it in the post.

Wood Doesnt Supress tailed Beast, Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands does.
