I thought about something this morning. People always want to criticize people like Naruto, Sasuke and Madara for having "free powerups" or "borrowed power". They say that these guys do not demonstrate a sense of hard work. Then they want to just praise people like Lee and Guy for not having bloodline limits, bijuus or being from special clans. Yes this is commendable, but many of you people are forgetting one key fact:
All of these powerups are essentially weapons. Weapons are only as strong as their users, and obtaining strength to use those weapons requires training and hard work. Think about it:
They say Naruto's power was just handed to him. So tell me, was the power to beat Kurama in a fight and yank out his chakara just handed to him? No! Naruto used sage mode in that fight and rasenshuriken (both techniques that he trained for!) Was the ability to gain the trust of a demon that hated humanity just handed to him? I think not! If BM is so "free" then why didn't Kushina or Mito have it? Why has Kurama hated humans for centuries if his trust is so "free"? If you bring up that crappy nine tails state that he used to go into when he got mad, you are delusional. That was not a power up! That actually damaged Naruto and shortened his life span! Naruto could not control that and he never actually chose to go into it! Kurama always fed on Naruto's rage and mental instability and forced his chakara upon Naruto! That is not a power up. That is just power that is out of control!
As for Sasuke: Did Sasuke ask for his clan to be killed? Did he ask his brother to pose as a villain until death? Did he ask for Hashirama's cells? No, no and no! Even if he did, sharingan and its forms take time to master. If you say that they don't, then you are essentially saying that valley of end Sasuke was just as strong as hebi Sasuke. How are you saying this? You are saying this because both valley of end Sasuke and hebi Sasuke were up to 3 tomoe sharingan. If you say that there is no training or hard work involved, then you are just saying that part 1 Sasuke automatically became as strong as his hebi counterpart, the moment he awakened 3 tomoe. This is obviously not true! Sasuke also had to train to perfect enton and susanoo as well. Face it, Sasuke did in fact train and work hard!
Madara: Tell me, did Madara ever ask Tobirama to kill Izuna? No! Also, do you think Hashirama is just some weakling? Remember Madara defeated Hashirama for his sage mode. He planned to fight Hashirama at the valley of end and get his Senju DNA/ rinnegan. Do you not call that hard work? How do you people think he got the strength to even fight Hashirama and survive the wars of his time? He had to train!!!!! As for juubi, you can not honestly say that it was not hard work for Madara to become the juubi jinchuuriki. Madara had to defeat Hashirama, the nine bijuus, Naruto, Bee, Gaara, Tobirama and Sasuke before getting the juubi! I'd call that pretty hard work! How do you think Madara got the power to do all this? If you say it was by stealing powerups, how do you think he got the power to steal those powerups? He had to train!!!!!!!
All of these powerups are no different from stuff like the 8 gates! Lee and Guy had to train to get those gates and they had to train to master them! So did the people I have mentioned with their powerups! Like I said before: Jutsus and modes are basically weapons.
That stupid logic : "Lee and Guy weren't born with their stuff" is just a stupid cop out! If you are not born with your weapon then it is your responsibility to find a weapon of your own like how Itachi found totsuka or how Minato created rasengan.
Nobody ever criticizes byakugan users or Haku or Pakura of the scorch element! If you say it is because these kekkei genkais are not super powerful then you just prove that you are simply hating on power!
Stop hating and just hope that your favorite characters find a weapon of their own! This logic is undeniably true! Jutsus and modes are weapons! Therefore nobody ever got free powerups. They trained for their stuff, so stop trying to bash them in order to make your favorite seem like such a trooper/ hard worker, and just face the fact that your favorite just isn't training hard or smart enough if they are weak!
