That's the thing, it doesn't burn Bee's skin because he cooperates with the eight tails. It hasn't been explicitly said in the manga, but that's the most likely reason.

I had the same theory. I figured if he can literally transform into gyuuki that would effectively make him and gyuuki the same being, meaning the 8 tails is every bit of his physiology as his own arms and legs

Also, it was the vile hatred that was present within Kurama's chakara at the time that was burning Naruto, not the cloak itself. After Naruto befriended Kurama, the hatred went away and so did the damage. Notice that the members of the shinobi alliance were all given Kurama cloaks, and Naruto also used version 1 again in the final fight with Sasuke and again in the Boruto movie briefly but the chakara didn't hurt Naruto or the alliance in any of the aforementioned instances.
