This is a post that explains that break down of Bijuu chakra... The important thing is to remember that the Bijuu IS Chakra.

honestly... Decorus might be right on the transformations to a certain degree... the only reason I believe so is because of the "halves". Earlier I asked Masumune if they believe that the halves matter in terms of power, basically whether or not the halves limit or cut Naruto's capabilities. What i was trying to say is that the Kyuubi Chakra is broken up into 4 parts,YIN(body, chakra)chakra, and Yang(mind, chakra)chakra. All of it is chakra though. the Bodychakra and the mindchakra make up the physical(personality, physical body) characteristics of the Bijuu and the chakra is the chakra they use. Which is created in the same way Ninja's mold chakra. By combining their physical and spiritual energies. In the Bijuu's case its using chakra to mold chakra. This is also way I thought Sage mode was important for Naruto to learn in terms of Controlling chakra. Because Bijuu chakra is made of 4 parts So does the splitting of the Kyuubi's chakra matter? No...

Before I continue, let me depict something real quick.

In terms of power in this manga for Naruto there are at this point 4 levels of power Stamina(taijutsu)-has 1 part>>>>>>Chakra(ninjutsu)-has two parts(physical, spiritual energies)>>>>>>Sage Chakra("Naruto's case" -Senjutsu,)-3 parts(physical, spiritual, natural energies)>>>>>>Bijuu chakra(Jinchuurikijutsu)-4 parts(Will, body(naruto substitues in Sage mode),ninja chakra, bijuu chakra )

The Yang was sealed with a means to filter into Naruto's system, in order to protect Naruto. This protection was also to strengthen Naruto's own chakra system by preparing it to be able to handle the FULL Kyuubi yang chakra(by taking the Kyuubi chakra with a will stronger than the Kyuubi's).

The has to be a balance right. Naruto replaced the Kyuubi chakra with lets say the Will of Fire. Naruto's chakra system now acts as the Yin(Will of Fire, Sage chakra) chakra to the Kyuubi's full Yang chakra.

Since Naruto's Yin was weaker before, Naruto would transform because the Kyuubi Yang was pressuring Naruto's Yin(his chakra system). But this does not mean when Naruto uses the Kyuubi chakra there not be physical changes(transformations, cloaks). This is also the reason I think Naruto will introduce a New Jinchuuriki mode. Since Yin and Yang do not exist independently, the Yang chakra will still give Naruto some type of physical change(but it will be minimum, Kyuubi like but with more of a Human like form) where he appears to look like chakra (modified cloak -closer to the one seen in the Neji fight or how we just recent saw him but more elaborate)this will be his version 1, He will likely have a V2(using the Will of Fire, rather than the will of the Kyuubi)->>V2 is when the host "asks" for chakra from the bijuus will(which is still chakra), and V3 also this where Sage mode(or something else) might come in.

I find it asinine that people can write off the entire encounter with the fox simply because it doesn't match up with their desired outcome of the chapter. Using the whole "it's just in his head, so it's not real" is not a sufficient enough excuse. Naruto even commented on how fast the fox was. What the hell was he referring to if it was all make believe? The speed of what, the fox's will? Wake up and accept the fact that was supposed to be a legit, accurate battle. Stop saying things like, "Naruto can do whatever he wants in his head". Really? If that is the case then why don't we see all kinds of ridiculous stuff like tanks or any other nonsense? Or better yet, why do we see any of this battle at all? Because it would have made a lot more sense for Naruto to only have a serious discussion with the fox if it was just a battle of "wills". The whole thing is pointless an unecessary if that is the case right? A brand new level of Rasengan use was introduced along with a new transformation but none of it really exists? Common sense should tell you these things were not introduced for no reason at all. Kishi did not waste time coming up with this just to trash it next chapter because it was "just in Naruto's head".

Yes it was a battle of wills but it should be clear the writer is using the opportunity to make a comparison with actual battle strength.

He didn't use that level of Rasengan against Pain because it was never needed. Pain wasn't an oversized Bijuu, he was a standard size human using only a couple of summons. Naruto performing 30 or so Rasengans at once wouldn't have been useful against Pain. Thats why he didn't do it. Plus he couldn't expend too much SM chakra anyway because he'd forfeit his two gathing natural energy.

It should at this point be impossible to continue to support Naruto using the tailed states. It is done and buried. It has been replaced. Naruto gained control of the chakra and the tailed states did not appear. I'm sorry what you believed or wanted to happen didn't occur but those are the breaks. Had he transformed into the original tailed state once he absorbed the fox chakra then you're claim would be supported but it didn't happen so it no longer is.

But you do realize that was an internal battle, not completely a physical one. The Naruto's chakra was fighting the Kyuubi's chakra. It was a metaphoric depiction of Naruto's chakra being stronger than the Kyuubi's Yang(By Using Sage Mode and the Will of Fire against it). First he tried to just use Sage mode... it wasn't enough, because the Kyuubi's hate was too strong. He meets Kushina Who helps Naruto by letting him know that he has inherited the Will of Fire(Hokages believe this), with the Will of Fire and Sage mode, Naruto was able to overide the Kyuubi's Hatred, Suppressing it with His will of Fire.

Remember Bijuu are made of 2 halves with 4 parts total. Yin(Body, chakra)chakra and Yang(Mind, will)chakra.

Naruto lacked the will in the beginning so he couldn't defeat the Kyuubi's will. By meeting Kushina and inherited the will of the former Hokages and his mom(Will of Fire), using Sage mode he was able to balance out the chakra as a whole.
