His flow was undoubtably unmatched and, at his time, he probably was the best. And I got all sorts of love for him and Tupac, especially Tupac, but at today's standards, they really weren't the greatest of ALL time. There are many great rappers who blew up after they passed on, some of which were already in the game. Jay, Em, Tech, Busta, and Jump Off Joe Bud stand out in my mind as some of those who eventually surpassed them.
there needs to be real rappers again like this guy, the rappers these day are pathetic seriously, how can kids call them the best etc. like lil wayne for example, you cant understand what hes talking about.

B.I.G wasn't my favorite. Not to say he wasn't hella dope, just not my cup of tea. Honestly,
I prefer more intellectual hip hop.
For example, Eyedea & Abilities were pretty good until Eyedea passed away tragically. He was also a pretty sick Battler/freestyler (much better than B.I.G), check out his Blaze Battles or the Wake Up Show Freestyle he did with Slug. He was literally too good at it.
Aesop Rock is also pretty dope. I've listened to tons of hip hop, and have yet to hear a lyricist who is on his level, except Illogic. Those artists make pretty dope and creative hip hop. They're worth checking out if you like intelligent hip hop.
Once again, no dis to Notorious, he was the shit.
