Yin seal only strengthens the bond between Katsuyu and the summoner allowing them to use remote healing. And on top of that the whole regeneration thing.
What I don't get is why are there people assuming that Sakura's strength of the punch comes from the Yin seal.. no.

Now we recently found out that tsunade nor sakura needs to heal through katsuyu for mass recovery. But katsuyu can do recovery by herslef instantly without the need of tsunade or sakura chakra. But you need 2 byakugou users.

I find it extremely unlikely that it costs so much chakra for Tsunade to appear young that a normal girl like Sakura is in competition with Tsunade for strength. Especially since she could stay alive against Madara for the time she did, and survive bisection for as long as she did.
Furthermore, Nothing indicates that Sakura is constantly placing chakra onto the seal. In fact, this course of action would be both a ridiculous risk factor, inefficient for combat scenarios, and theoretically impossible during sleep. Sakura would also have her chakra draining all times. She doesn't have a supply for that.
Furthermore it wouldn't limit the her overall strength in combat. There's no reason placing some chakra into the seal would automatically weaken her punches. The jutsu gains power dependant on how much chakra she's put into the punch. For dire situations like the fight against Sasori, she has no excuse not to be using these large chakra strikes.
I'm of the opinion that it does indeed increase the overall power. As you said, she links with Katsuyu. As we see with Kurama, linking chakra has overall increased one's power.
