Biggest plot hole in naruto?

Obviously looking back on the whole mystery of Tobi situation, Kishi couldn't have shown us Obito's mangekyo or people would have been super confused because it would've looked the same as Kakashi and everyone would've known he wasn't Madara. But does this mean Kishi deliberately didn't show us the mangekyo activation in his sharingan just to keep the mystery alive? Kishi has only shown us Obito's mangekyo once or twice and I didn't even get how the tomai change effected with him power wise... So do we agree this was 100% for the sake of the plot or does someone out there think that he can kamui without mangekyo activation somehow.... because there was that little bit where Madara said "it seemed like you just slipped through the rock"

The only other time I can think of mangekyo abilities being used without us knowing about mangekyo activation happened was when Danzo tried to use KA at the kage summit.... Since his eye was covered who knows if he could us mangekyo activation especially since he's not an uchiha. That's about the only time I can think of when it seems magekyo powers are being used without tomai reconfiguration.

we saw his ms when he used kamui with katon so he can only use it with ms

He can not use Kamui without the Mangekyo. That is one problem with how he survived the rubble. He only unlocked it with Rin's death. Otherwise Kakashi should have had it as well.

But Kamui is Obito & Kakashi's Mangekyo tech, and as such requires the Mangekyo sharingan to be active.

So yes it was hidden by Kishi in order to keep Obito a secret.

You don't unlock that until you kill your best friend.
At that point Rin had not died.
Also Zetsu pointed out that Madara had been "watching him" and had "Been right in choosing" him.
He had Zetsu save him but didn't want it to seem that way to Obito otherwise he would grow suspicious of Madara.

I think he didn't show obito's mangekyou because he wasn't planning a tobi = obito from the beggining, the first time we saw tobi slipping throw something we didn't see his MS because i think kishimoto wasn't planning for him to be obito. Then, when he decided him to be obito (when the war started IMO) , we didn't see the MS shape because kishi didn't want us to know he was obito (NO, OBITO CAN'T USE KAMUI WITH 3 TOMOE, WE DIDN'T SEE HIS MANGEKYOU BEFORE BECAUSE KISHI WAS PROTECTING THE PLOT)

Plus, most of the time he uses Kamui the tech covers his his eye because thats the source. But as for slipping through objects it still should show his eye, which is what confused me.

And killing your best friend is not how you activate the Mangyeko, that is a misconception. Yes itachi said it, but he said that to keep up his persona as a heartless uchiha that killed his entire clan.

his face doesn't get light on it from behind his mask so we cant really see his eye. and when he did use Kamui the warping occurred directly where his eye's located so you can't see what's behind his eye:

that's probably the reason Kishimoto put the Kamui in front of his eye, it totally blocked by the warping

When Tobi if falling into konans chasm of doom he does kamui with normal sharingan. This isn't a plothole. Also, when itachi eats kakashi for breakfast they dont show the mangekyo.

Srrry sir but kishi probably planned tobi to be obito for a long while.....or he wouldnt have had kakashi gaiden, and wouldnt have had the wrikles on tobis face right before he got ameretsued by itachis inplanted amaretsu in sasuke.....i think kishi had most of the manga planned out from the naruto vs sasuke fight.....as he already had zetsu, and hinted at the vote fight being ironic etc.....kishi just didnt plan details like how he wanted the rinnegan to look like and stuff like that......but he had the plot planned out for a long while.....yeah he changed some things....but he really probably has had a at least 300 chapters planned....(again not specifics)

I'm saying that is the only way I can think of excusing Obito's using kamui with 3 tomai... otherwise I'm pretty sure we just have to say it was PNJ, and that Obito's using kamui with 3 tomai was just for the sake of the plot i.e. the mystery of tobi.
