According to Chapter 0, this dude is the first official villain in the "Naruto Series".

This is the only correct post in the thread.

According to Chapter 0, this dude is the first official villain in the "Naruto Series".

That's just a pilot, hence Chapter 0. It's not part of the Naruto series, but where kishi got his first shot at Jump. They were simply testing to see if he could make a worth while manga, which he did.

Gato = Zabuza's boss

Zabuza = Guy who was gonna kill the old man

Old man = The guy who went to the Hiruzen

Hiruzen = Guy who assigned Kakashi the mission

Kakashi = the Guy who fougth Zabuza

Zabuza = the guy who trained Haku

Haku = the guy who made Naruto go into rage mode

Naruto = the guy who was inspired by Zabuza


Zabuza = the guy who was hired by Gato.

No no no, fanboyism is when someone totally speaks to defend their fave without any logic at all. Anyone with real common sense will know better than to try to label this guy as the first villain, it's a cry for attention. Hell at least try to name Zabuzu.

Although it wasn't revealed yet, it was actually Obito since he was the reason behind the nine tails attack that led to Naruto losing his parents and becoming the Jin.
They showed the flashback in the begibning but never showed the full details for mystery purposes.

he was the first major antagonist but not the first villain at all U_U
even though Gatou and Mizuki are even more fodder compared to the current powerlevels than Oro they were the first villains of the series

Juubi is debatable. It isn't a villain in a technical sense because it doesn't have a conscious inclination towards right or wrong. It's simply an engine of creation and destruction much like Shiva in Hinduism. Shiva is sometimes confused as being a force of evil but he simply carries out destruction as per his reason for existence.

The Juubi is very much the same as though it is without intent, it is not without purpose. It's more of an antagonist than an actual villain. But this is me splitting hairs.
