Biggest irony in Naruto

Naruto is actually the one who is said to never give up, but that title is rather more suitable for Lee than Naruto.
I used to like Naruto in part I, especially when he said "I'll never give up, that's my ninja way!" But that soon became a joke. He had given up quite a few times and had to be convinced not to-- The biggest example would be Naruto Vs Pain.

I don't hate him, but his character doesn't interest me much anymore.
What are your thoughts?

Well I started watching Fairy Tail about a month ago,
I found it way more interesting. Naruto isn't as interesting as it used to be
They don't even have any fillers! Plus they show 2 Manga chapters in Just 1 anime episode

There is a difference between dragged to a arena and walking there himself with ur head held high...... thats the only differnce between Destiny and Choice.
