[Discussion] Big Mama or Kaido/ BB vs Shanks

Big Mama and Kaido:

I'm still in a confusion regarding this.



Before law came into the scene... Luffy was after Big Mama. When law came into the scene... they are going after Kaido. Though i believe the main reason for the Law's alliance was to simply take down Doffy.

But on the other hand, The crew is already in deep shit with some of Big Mama's subordinates.


Tactically, It'd be more beneficial to go after Big mama, so you avoid the clash with Kidd and alliance. BUT then if you join forces with them, they can take out Kaido as well. Though thats dependent of if Kidd and etc are attempting to fight Kaido or joining forces with him. And from what I recall, Kidd attacked some of Big Mama's ships. So i thought they were also going after her. But with the recent chapters, that also raises some questions.



Now is luffy gonna class with Big Mama or the Beast incarnate KAIDO. Personally i feel these 2 are just there for the supernovas to defeat and get on that level.


Blackbeard vs Shanks


While, Kaido and Big Mama are there for the Supernovas to kill. I believe that these guys will probably clash with each other and thus leading to the death of Shanks. And then setting up Blackbeard vs Luffy for the Pirate King.. which i'm hoping doesn't happen. Since Kidd vs Luffy for Pirate King, would be better than BB vs Luffy. But who knows.


I do not see Shanks or black beard being alive for the Great war thats gonna happen at the end of the series. Kidd/Law/Hawkins/Drake i see these guys taking the Yonko spots with Luffy as the PK, and then you set up a huge war between the "Worst generation", WG, and the Revolutionaries.




Your opinions on the ending for Shanks/BB, and who Luffy will be going after?

Well I don't see Luffy taking out Shanks, BB taking him out would make more sense imo. I'm not sure there were yonko(s) during Rogers Era, so when Luffy becomes PK there might not be Yonko, since he wants to be the man with the most freedom on the seas and the idea of being in someone else's territory goes against that.

That is also true, but you had OP pirates like Edward, who i would assume had territories even at Roger's time.

For the sake of the plot they might kill Shanks........but if they ever want to make any money they will not kill him....seriously there would be riots.

I honestly don't think Blackbeard will be the one to kill shanks. If anything it will be Akainu, because blackbeard doesn't seem like he is anywhere near shanks level (even with whitebeard's fruit). The war ending with Shanks blocking Akainu's attack could be a foreshadowing of a battle between those to later in the seires, which could end to shanks death. This will be more than enough motivation for Luffy to kill Akainu by adding this to the already built up resentment for akainu killing Ace.

I think the Gorsei will be the ones to capture dragon's and threaten his life, which will be the connection for luffy fighting them. Luffy will round up the revolutionaries, and it will probably end up being Luffy, Dragon, Sabo, Ivankov, and Kuma vs the five Gorsei. Im confident that Kuma will die in the battle. And if Ivankov really is based off Dr. Frankenfuter from Rocky Horror Picture Show then Inazuma will be the one to kill him, just like Frukenfurter.

In regards to the Yonko:

Luffy will fight Big MOM!!!
Luffy will probally also fight Kaido with the help of Kidd (Instead of Law)

I also thought about Shanks vs Blackbeard, but after going back and reading Marineford Arc twice. I think the return of the Whitebeard / Marco pirates to fight Teach or Marco vs Teach. I only say that because at one point Macro makes the comment "Everyone on this sea knows well! What happens to them, if they lay a single finger on one of our crewmates!!!! We won't let anyone who hurt you get away with it alive, Ace!!!"

Could Blackbeard beat someone like Shanks, Kadio, or Mihawk assuming they don't have a DF power and only Haki. I feel like one of Blackbeard's pros in fights is after he grabs you, your DF power is null like with Ace. Where someone like one of them 3 assuming they have no DF, would hit Blackbeard with Haki after they are pulled in and grabbed.

With the Gorsei we know nothing of them except there are 5 members "Elder Starts". I could see each one of the Gorsei fighting with a D Luffy, Dragon, Garp not sure if he would change sides. We would need to see 2 more D's come into the story as Teach is not a member of the D's and is a fake as stated by Rogers while talking to Whitebeard.
