It goes like this. From what I have seen so far, there is always one of the two scenario below:

1. Kishi is the master, and the fandom is like his dog

In this case, Kishi throw a bone whenever he want to keep his fandom. In fact, the more the bone is difficult to get, the more the fandom is excited, just like a dog would do.

2. Kishi like Itachi, and the fandom is like Sasuke ..

Of course with a little touch. Replace hatred with excitement, then it goes like this:

Foolish fandom
Get Excited, get excited
Cling to your expectation, run after me for your theories
Then, when you have found a clue
I will be waiting for you on the last chapter

Then, when we will reach the last chapter, it will be just like Itachi vs Sasuke. Kishi will show that our perception was just our own, an illusion that we created based on our expectation.

I highly doubt Kabuto would be able to play Orochimaru like that, the same person who played Akatsuki, Konoha, Sunagukure, basically everyone. I just think he tried to use Edo-Tensei, but it didn't work, but he didn't know why.

Possible. I don't think we'll ever find out his true allegiance to Orochimaru (unless it's settled next chapter) he's an unpredictable character. Remember how he played Team 7 in the forest of death? how he healed Hinata even though she was the enemy, how he taunts Naruto to his face yet tells his men to be wary of him, how he got to work the SECOND Orochimaru was killed....

He's unpredictable. My favourite trait about him, and unlike my other favourite Obito- I may never totally work out Kabuto's character, which is awesome.

OT: Kabuto is one of the best written characters in the series and it is likely that it is him near Sasuke (In his fight with Sasuke and Itachi he was shown barefoot, and it was a lengthy battle, and on the legs of the person approaching Sasuke, you can see the markings on the person's leg which is indicative of recently being within a fight). It would be nice to see him have relevance once more and he needs some kind of vindication because the Current situation is because of him, so he needs to own up to him. Would be nice to have cleverly executed closure to a great character (from his rise as an accomplice to Orochimaru, to transcending into one of the strongest characters in the series, to becoming his own person and owning up to his own forth comings).​

Well the fact that he might be back confirms he's a character Kishi wants to finish. Can't argue with that.

One of the best medics in the NV? Can actually use chakra right now? Seems kinda valuable to me.

Madara is the bridge between Uchiha and Senju. Rinnegan can't be achieved without Uchiha prowess and Senju ones.
