Which one would you prefer in imp fights of naruto, better art or more use of cgi like they do in movies.
Like pain vs naruto had great animation but the art was bad.Same goes for madara vs shinobi alliance.SP struggles providing rigid art.

Personally I would prefer rigid art for upcoming fights although the cgi option is not half bad either. The truth seeking balls are full cgi and imo they look pretty great

Better art CGI can make things look stiff and out of place if not done right.

hmmm they may be able to do more with cgi but I'm not familiar with what goes into either.

I am not saying full cgi like kingdom anime, background cgi and sometimes some fires, explosions or techs can be cgi which would look good
Remember orochimaru's 10000 snakes against 4 tails naruto? That was a full cgi attack and imo looked good

Id rather have better animation. Art can be an important factor, but its not as crucial as animation is in an anime. A prime example would be One Punch Man. Phenomenal animation with at times trivial art [as that is part of the attraction to OPM].

Just look back at the Madara vs Shinobi Alliance fight, or the Kakashi vs Obito fight. Imagine just how amazing Naruto would be if the entire anime looked like that - in terms of animation. The art rarely matters at that point, because the art becomes distorted often anyway due to the nature of the animation itself. The art is really only crucial if you are animating less taxing scenes [like dialogue], but with an anime like Naruto where the large appeal are the fights, animation trumps art quality.

better art.

also, you think the naruto VS pain was good animation? you must have some low standards. i could probably do stuff better than that particular fight. you know the bit i mean.

This.

When you've got high speed moves like shinobi fights, it wouldn't make sense for them to be stiff, because that would limit the motion.

In my opinion the animation on Naruto VS Pain was great as in frames and smoothness , but I feel like they goofed when it came to the derpy faces and odd drawings. If that makes any sense...
