Beta drivers..

I have been meaning to use them Beta version of the Nvidia drivers now for my PC..

Since this is the first time i would be messing with the Beta drivers Just wanted to know if they are reliable enough..
I mean i accept a little unstability.. but they wont be hazardous would they??

Has anyone been using them ??

Releases go
Pre-Alpha -> Alpha (usually closed) -> Closed beta -> Open beta -> Release canidate (can be multiple) -> final

You can skip releases though. The drivers probably won't kill your computer but you are a tester for finding bugs. If you feel it will work then go for it. Might run into bugs though.

I have never had any problem with nvidia's proprietary drivers for linux. Even the free gpl drivers are good. Much better than ATI's.
