His strongest Light-side is a Hokage. His strongest Dark-side self is the Juubi-Jin, and his dark side only truly wanted to be proven that there is still hope for a better world.

He is by far the best at-the-crossroads type Anti-Hero/Anti-Villain I have ever read. He is the manga in one character.
