Yagami is just another bland character, of which can be found in a dozen other anime/manga. DN is tripe too, just another series that is hollow beneath the surface and serves to do no more than to reveal those lacking in refined taste.

Honestly the dynamic between zuko and azula was some of the best writing in any anime ever and aang was very realistic as an avatar much more so than kora for various reasons. The firelord is one of the few things that could have been a little better he should have been shown more and had a bit more character development before the final showdown. Also I really think sokka should have had some kind of epic one on one showdown to show off his sword, boomerang and strategic prowess before the series ended.

I 2nd this. Tho they could made the battle a bit longer but at the end, what was it 15 min battle that was hype as hell? Still very good.

Komatsu isn't annoying. I started enjoying his character ever since the ice hell arc.

As a Character Lelouch > Light by far. Light wasn't even that amazing of a character, it's just the way Death note did shit that was amazing.

Griffiths/Guts/Lelouch/Mustang/Edward/Clare/Guy from Vagabond and Kei Kurouno.

He's definitely high up there with the best of them, but Light seems almost like a generic choice for that position. That said, I can't think of any other characters to list. I'd go with Spike Spiegel or Johan Liebert maybe (best hero and villain, respectively) but I couldn't really explain why they're well-written. They're just my two favorite characters*_*
