Best/Worst Backstories

[Bad Touch Yakushi]

For all the characters who get a proper few chapters or so focused on their backstory. Some are moving, some are crap. Some are really really emotional, sometimes they're just timed badly.

Best:
Nagato (All of the war orphan business & basically losing everything)

Karin (Being saved by Sasuke in the chunnin exams and basically being the only person to have a legit reason to like Sasuke, made her less one-dimensional)


Worst:
Obito (The Madara/Masked Man business really is just a bit too far-fetched and silly.)

Neji (It's a nice story and all but it just gets in the way of the Naruto VS Neji fight. It's seriously lame.

I really liked Itachi's backstory


I feel that the worst backstory had to be Kabuto's. It was so ungodly boring, my goodness. i remember reading the manga pages and i was like....maybe i should just wait for next weeks...however i ended up forcing myself to read it, i truly felt it was super boring.

Kabuto's backstory was the most boring of all.

Agreed. Kabuto's my favourite character and I really like what it was going for with the whole 'I'm a nobody and made myself strong you talented douche' theme but it was really shown at a bad time and everybody just wanted to get back to the battlefield.

You probably could've just imagined Kabuto's story yourself. Kabuto is an orphan then meets Orochimaru...yup, we figured that already.

Kabuto's backstory was unbelievably ****ty, skipped every chapter.

kabuto had the worst. in the end we never knew his origin. which i was reall intrested in finding out and then he was trolled by Itachi in the izanami.

Best id say naruto, itachi as well. even maybe kushina, narutos mom.

I would say madara but we really dont know his story yet
