[Discussion] Best/Worst Arc

Best- Tower of Heaven.. IMO the best written arc in the series.. Jellal was a good villain and we got to witness the development between him and Erza.. Their history and their conclusion. The battles were great and DF Natsu was badass.. The story was good and emotional.. Erza sending off her childhood friends was an epic way to end.. I'd probably have Tartaros as a close second.. It has its flaws but the pros outweigh the cons and its been getting better

Worst- GMG.. What started on fire fizzled out overtime.. Now I'm not going to over exaggerate and say its the worst arc ever when it clearly isn't but it was the most disappointing in the series.. I felt that Hiro had a hard time juggling a truckload of characters.. The theme of Fairy Tail "friendship" was overly saturated and it played a huge part in their wins.. Nakagami Armor wasn't a good idea nor was Natsu beating Sting and Rogue..The story was inconsistent. Sting quitting was really disappointing

So in your opinion which arcs did you feel Fairy Tail at its highest and lowest?

Best arc - Current ongoing Tartarus arc

Worst arc - Need I want to say XD...It is GMG arc U_U.

I'm going to agree with TheGrandSage on this...Tower of Heaven was the best arc with all the epic battling and the emotional background. Tartaros is a close second. I don't know what to pick as a worst arc, as I like all of them xD It's true that GMG arc was inconsistent, but I quite liked it. Especially the end, with the Dragons (where the anime is) and the plot buildup. I wanna say that the arc was good not for what happened in the actual Grand Magic Games but what was happening outside of the events. That places the GMG arc at a tie for 2nd best with the Tartaros Arc. I can't pick a worst, honestly...

Are you from Japan??GMG arc is super hit in Japan & it got pretty high sales for all of the Volumes that are covering the manga chapters of GMG arc...notably Volume 40

Best arc is the current one, at least it has been good so far, though i may be biased because Gray is my fav. That aside GMG was ging good for a while then it crashed so hard. Though i really can't decide the worst arc. Honorable mentions go to tenrojima(is that how you spell it?) arc, if you're wandering it's the arc before the 7 year ordeal, it was pretty good especially when Anco~~~~whatever the dragon's name is showed up, so yeah, i could really go on and say how i feel about all the arc, but i'll just leave it at this
