I'm sorry if this is a really obvious idea, but I just thought of it. I'm slow, I know. The way sharingan precog works is you see an "image" of your opponents next move before they make it essentially both of you know what's about to happen, you just "see" it ahead of time so you can dodge efficiently.
This is how sharingan genjutsu should be utilized: you "see" that you're about to be punched in the head and sent flying so right before it connects you use a genjutsu of your opponent smacking you and sending you flying. Even if they feel something is off, they won't be able to tell right away because it's such a realistic illusion and that hesitation can be fatal. Kinda like what Sasuke did vs. Danzo. This, to me, is the greatest advantage of the sharingan genjutsu the fact that you can make your opponent see anything you want.
Again, sorry if this is obvious, but I just randomly thought of it and felt like making a thread on it.
