Pre-War Arc and The Last Naruto was the best. During the War-Arc he just got so annoying.

Definitly part 1. He just felt more genuin. He was an annoying brat, but even so (or maybe because of that) his words stuked harder. His innocence and idealísticas view of the world was kind of endearing and all his TnJ were great because of the passional behind it.
The story of the little ninja who wanted to be Hokage and protect his friends will always be superior to the "child of the prophecy" or the "Asura reencarnation"

It's some of the manga panels that we have seen in him, makes him totally different from the same old boy we saw back in the War Arc. Now that Kishimoto can stop with this hype of everyone telling him he can be the Hokage, he can finally settle down the character Hokage hype he had been dragging on for fifteen years straight.

OT; My favorite Naruto was Part 1 when he was an epic failure, and put sheer hard work in everything that he learned. Part two Naruto was my favorite too. Hands down though, nothing will top Naruto's SM Pain Arc character. Probably the best and highest Kishimoto could have taken him. Too bad he ****ed it up like always.

I give him some props for Hokage Naruto. Let's see if he can fix the mistakes he did to a lot of characters, especially Naruto, in Part three.

Either Pain arc, or as the hokage. The Pain arc Naruto had a lot going for him. Finally, after being in the dust for the previous moments of part 2, he stood up, powerful. He finally progressed a lot. That, and he had to deal with his anger and baggage. This was easily one of his best moments.


He's also good as hokage. This is the matured Naruto. He's no longer the dumb kid. This is Naruto reaching what he want to be, yet has difficulties with his family. As hokage, he's also showing his leadership and inspirational skills.
