People are saying Danzo when all I've seen him do is add some wind to a kunai to make it longer and add some wind to shuriken to make them wider & sharper? Think he spat lil wind bullets too? seems like the bread and butter of air release for any wind user in any franchise to me.

Asuma moulded chakra around his blades. Doesn't seem like a huge feat imo.

its really a matter of opinion & interpretation.

I think great vaccum sphere & serial vaccuum waves are 2 of the 4 best wind jutsu to date(sword of wind & cast net).

and yes, the wind element is not very complex.
as for making a meal of it, danzo clearly got the most use out of its limited applications.

You may have misinterpreted me there. I meant what Danzo did was very basic, not that wind element in general is basic. Danzo had it used against him lel

He put some wind around a shuriken. Naruto incorporated wind into a rasengan. Surely that outdoes Danzo itself. Naruto also made a shuriken shape out of wind to be all aerodynamic. It's faster than wind shuriken for example. Another thing is that FRS works on a cellular lvl. Temari uses techs like Danzo. Air slices and the sort and she still admitted inferiority.

Nearly anyone could probably put their element or chakra around their weapon, probably. If they tried a bit. I think Naruto tried but his chakra was just a bit wobbly and not defined enough for the first time.

To be fair. He used the kkg, more advanced versions of those basic elements. Why use katon when you have lava style? Why use doton when you have Shukkaku's magnetic style? Raiton would just be a chidori nagashi ball, probably wouldn't work out nicely.

If you can use the kkg. You can use the individual elements composed in the kkg.

The Manga had Naruto with 9 Rasengan, an element each and combo ones like wind,water and lightning combining all 3 gives you a Hurricane/Typhoon Rasengan. Then theirs wind,water cold air for Blizzard Rasengan. Earth and water with wind gives you a mud Rasengan.
