The best straw hat is Usopp hands down, people stop your hating and look at the facts. Without Usopp we'd have no Merry so no gathering of the crew, Nami would have no weapon, their ship that he got them would have fallen apart before Water 7, was the only one brave enough to stand up to Luffy, beat a fishman(and he's not superpowered like Sanji or Zoro), was the only one who could stop Perona. Face it Usopp's the best and most valuable Straw Hat there is.

Franky can be replaced by a ship yard on any/every island they stop at as far as usefulness, Chopper can be replaced by medicine(and the oranges Nami's growin to prevent Scurvy lol) Sanji can be replaced by a refrigerator. Usopp was the only one able to shoot down the WG flag, Usopp was the one who was able to get them a boat, Usopp was the only one who thaught to bring back dials from skypiea.

You can replace Ussop by any arrow shooter or gun wielder. You think without Ussop, Luffy would give up being a pirate because he didnt have a boat from Ussop?
