Great point made imo..

The other day someone made a thread about the worst thing in this world, or something along those lines

I feel like people misusing their words and neglecting the effect they have on others could be one of those things

That was definitely a great speech.
10/10 would listen to it again.

Almost as good as this one:

Hans Zimmer song added to accentuate the feels.

Definitely. People forget this, especially on the internet. Words are the things that create hate, wars, suicides, etc. Yet some people expect no consequences for what they say. "Freedom of speech, bro". Smh, they don't understand the reason we have that in the first place.

Intentional or not, what we say (or do not say) can inflict a lot of harm. It is ironic because words—things we use to help us connect with others and to promote understanding—can create so much confusion and distance sometimes. There is plenty of room for misinterpretations. Nevertheless, the healing power of words is real. Let's just also try to remember to balance how much we speak with how much we listen when communicating with others *_*
