Hanzo backed up by his hype and status of a legendary shinobi.

Personally, I'd say Hidan.
We haven't seen Hanzo use his scythe as impressive as Hidan did, but that doesn't rule out the chance that Hanzo is amazing with a scythe.

Hanzo backed up by his hype and status of a legendary shinobi.

...He got killed off in the war by having an emotional breakdown, and he lost a character who wasnt even a ninja and was fodder. That doesnt seem to me like he lived up to the hype.

I think hidan, his weapon is quite heavy but he still wields it quite easily

personally, hidan

but that fight would be epicness , as long as they can only use scythes , no janshin bullshit or other jutsus, straight scythe battle

Hanzo only lost to the Paths of Pain. Nobody killed him in the war, he himself for the sake of his faith since he lost it over time and failed his own test that he set out.

For someone with one of the best hype in the manga, Kishi failed to deliver Hanzo to live up to the hype.

I'm Pretty sure Hanzo was on a wayyy higher level than Hidan. Hidan was known as the Weakest of Akatsuki. His only real impressive feat was being the only like "truly" Immortal shinobi we've seen thus far.

And that's why he totally dominated Asuma(a strong taijutsu fighter) in a close-mid range fight, right? Someone is underrated here:sy:

Well I did mention his immortality right? I mean If he hadn't been Immortal Asuma would've taken him down with ease. So slow down there. lol I'm not underrating him as a bad guy, Im just saying Hanzo was probably better. So I don't really think that Hidan beat Asuma's Taijutsu with his own. I just think that Hidan is so creepy and strong in his own unique way... he sorta just breaks Taijutsu u know? lol

i'd say hanzo purely because it's on a chain and he can precisely hit what he wants with it, hidan's just a crazy nutter
