Best racing games for PS3?

I've been meaning to get back into racing games for a while. I don't have any for PS3 so I shall ask the NB community, which are some of the best racing games? Also I'm looking for a racing game with an active online community.

Depends on what type of racer. If a more realistic semi sim, then GT5, F1 2012 or the upcoming GT6.

If arcade, then something like the NFS series or Grid.

Gran turismo 5 by far if you are into realistic racing sim games.
