Indigo & Orange Islands are close for my favorite I liked Johto but it was to long for Ash to not even get to the final's in the tournament that's when I stopped watching.

The Original Pocket Monsters were great. Fact that there were few Pokémons back then, instilled an adventurous aura into the story premises. This added enormous charm overall. Nothing tops the excitement of seeing the real 'Legendary' Pokémons of the original seasons for the first time. No wait...nothing tops the real 'Legendary' Pokémons in any way whatsoever. Also, it got the nostalgic factor.

I really like Advanced Generation though. And I really like May among the main female characters. It also had more battle-oriented storyline which felt good. The last part - Battle Frontier - started dropping plotline-wise but had some great battles.

The Diamond & Pearl was extremely average. It's mostly a replica of Advanced Generations seasons but with less fervor. It wasn't bad but since it had few innovative elements to propose after the other 2 seasons, it wasn't great either.

The New Best Wishes! is crap.

In terms of regions battles, it's like that for me - Kanto > Hoenn > Johto > Sinnoh > The rest.

i think it goes like this:

1) Johto (just because of Gary vs Ash i guess xd still hate the fact that Charizard defeated Blastoise and that Heracross tanked Magmar's Flamethrower AND Fire Blast)
2) Orange Islands (just because actually WON xd)
3) Kanto (just for being freakin BA)
4) Frontier (last fight against that last guy was awesome, Ash's old team back was freakin awesome xd)
5) Hoenn
6) Sinnoh (Piplup was freakin annoying xd trying to be Pikachu, blocking his evolution, being out of pokeball,... and Dawn was annoying as well)
7) Black & White (level 5 Snivy beating level over 9000 Pikachu, RIIIIIIIGHT)

I always enjoyed the Johto eps. They're the ones I remember the most from my childhood. It helps that my starters from that season are my fave too. But the original was enjoyable to, they had more original concepts for the Pokemon.

the new black and white season is shit...pikachu somehow goes back to level one after fighting a f**king latios the season before(Im pretty sure) and ash gets younger somehow.....I watched the first episode to see and the black chick called ash a KID.....Ash shits on almost anyone he fought the f**king champion once or twice and did fine(I know he fought lance once).....pure crap

oh yeah and to top it off ash forgets how to battle........:sy:
