1.minato can simply teleport to otherplaces if the situation is very dangerious. prevention is better than cure.
2.minato's speed obviously help to dodze and avoid foreign attacks.
3.minato has not been punched and bullied except by kushina yet in the series.:izuna:

why not tobi???

1.tobi cant teleport and instantly migrate in other places unlike minato
2.tobi can only become intangible for about 5 mins so any attack like that of konan can kill him by prolonged explosion hence even deidara can kill tobi
3.tobi got rashingan by minato so obviously minato>>> tobi
4.tobi got fuking headbutt by naruto so again tobi failed
5.tobi cant even evade amatersu by sasuke so again tobi failed:scorps:

I don't think so. He went with the intent to kill Sasuke when i see it. It's Sasuke who did great by dodging the attack mainly thanks to the Sharingan, but he lacked power with the chidori to kill Raikage. I don't think the Raikage did it on purpose. But when Sasuke dodged, than at that moment he decided to take advantage of the fact Sasuke was near him to crush him to the ground.

If you think he did that on purpose, i wonder what he would have done if Sasuke had managed to go through his lightning armor and kill him. Against a raikiri, he would have had no chance.

About tobi losing his arm against Minato it's not the same coz Minato is even faster than the Raikage.

Minato teleports, he is not faster than the raikage. Minato's ability to dodge the raikages punch was even plot because he does not have the sharingan then how did he see the raikage coming at him?

Given that this is about avoiding an attack and not just a question of who's faster, its Tobi hands down, he can avoid virtually anything while still being technically "in" the fight still, no matter how fast minato is with FTG, he still needs somewhere to escape to, wheras tobi can become intangible, absorb himself/others into his dimention, and even if needed he can Izanagi, id like to see Minato FTG out of Konans multi-billion exploding seal (being completely surrounded at all times by an attack puts minato in pretty deep shit)

He will simply teleport else away(at home for example). It's where the jutsu from Minato is more effective and more faster than Tobis. Tobi needs time to teleport, when Minato only have to think about it.

He can even create a space time barrier like he did against the TBB from the Kyubi to teleport all paper bomb from Konan away.

LOL thats really incorrect, FTG does not let you teleport by "thinking about it" you have to place the FTG seal on the object/person/location you want to teleport to, and since he would be surrounded by an ocean of exploding tags, theres nothing he could place the seal on which wouldnt just explode as soon as he got to it. FTG isnt an answer to this stuation

you guys arent thinking about what this thread is about, we ALL KNOW that minato's FTG is faster than Tobi's teleport/intangibility. Its a widely known feat that minato beat him to the punch. but no one is asking about speed. minato is faser but can ONLY escape if he can place a FTG out of harms way, tobi (despite being marginally slower) can simply BECOME out of harms way indesputably, this makes him better at avoiding large-area attacks like the one i mentioned with Konan vs Tobi

Technically tobi is the best at avoiding attacks if he decides to troll his opponent and not attack at all therefore he doesnt need to solidify.

All 3 have been touched.
Tobi got marked and rasengan'ed. But also lost an arm against fu and torune.
Minato got caught by tobi's chains and evaded it with ftg

Tobi has the best way to evade attacks in the series by out of these 3, minato has been the least one touched.

Minato has permanent seals he leaves around Konoha (and one on Kushina's stomach) that allow him to teleport there at any time. If all else fails all he has to do is FTG home.

And by the way you misunderstood what the other person was saying, all Minato has to do is think about teleporting to one of his seals, it doesn't take any preparation like Tobi with his teleporting. Tobi has to activate his eye which takes time as both Minato and Konan figured out.

(P.S. Minato would never give Konan the chance to use that jutsu, and it isn't in her arsenal. That was a trap that she had been planning for months that was specifically suited to negate Tobi's abilities.)

Youre not listening, IF THE ****ING PLANET EXPLODED Tobi could survive it, while minato, his house, his village and ALL of his little FTG seals would be obliterated (tobi would of course die from suffocation eventually with the lack of a planet lol but do you get my point? it doesnt matter where you teleport. AND it doesnt matter if minato would "let" konan pull that off or not, this thread isnt about the ability to strike preemptively, its about the ability to avoid an attack. My point is, that no matter how fast you can teleport, no matter how far away you can teleport, in terms of AVOIDING attacks in general, being intangible wins. if you cant admit that then i dont think you really understand the topic
