Problem is that Naruto vs Sasuke is eventually going to happen. And if you think that Sakura is choosing Sasuke's side, you are in denial. SasuSaku is dead, the only way it is going to happen is if Naruto dies saving Sasuke from a third party. That would wake Sasuke up, realizing that Naruto's way is the right way. He would return to the village, become a Hokage and in turn making SasuSaku happen. It is a good plot for a FanFiction but it will not happen in this Manga. If Naruto is dying, he is dying by Sasuke's hand, and Sakura would not forgive him for that.

well if Sasuke vs Naruto happens this is what I imagine would happen

either Sasuke dies and he won't be with either Karin or Sakura

I also think Naruto vs Sasuke will happen in some isolated area like the final valley. So no one would really know about it

She is not going to be left out of the final battle. Plus in Japanese mythology the "slug" and "toad" team up against a "snake" plus it is a parallel to Jiraya and Tsunade vs Orochimaru.

Well Tsunade seemed to have forgiven Orochimaru and acknowledged that he truly changed...at least partially

who's to say that Sakura won't do the same if she feels that Sasuke truly has changed as well. Besides, Sasuke isn't really "evil" anymore like before.

His ideals could be considered good. One could argue he's not longer possessed by his hatred and Sakura might see that.

Also, having a 2vs1 would really upset the fanbase I'm sure. People want to see whether Naruto is truly better than Sasuke on his own. Only that way would Sasuke acknowledge his strength over his.

i dont think the fanbase will be upset for that 2v1 match up,after all if u read the manga carefully you already know than Naruto is miles ahead based on feats i mean he is a casual mountain buster with bijudama and sasuke on the other hand is what?

I'm sure Sasuke hasn't revealed all his cards yet; we hardly seen anything from him since he got the EMS

yes we all know that Naruto is stronger, but in the manga Naruto has to prove Sasuke that he is above him on his own.

if he has Sakura helping him, then Sasuke would always think himself superior and probably more fit to be hokage.
