side scrolling mario games: I would super mario bros. 3 the land games were good too I remember playing them on my gameboy and I have them on my 3DS.

3d mario games: Super mario 64 DS for me was the best one

I would say the DS remake of mario 64 was better than the original it had more stars and characters

I always wanted to play this Mario game. I guess I could get it off the virtual console, but it's just not the same as having one of those old Gameboys and playing it on it.
