asuma-san who was next in line for hokage, think about it he was part of the 12 guardians who were pretty strong n then he understood the will of fire and became an strong jounin..n dont say why was he killed soo easy by kakazu and hidan..he cut one of their head off but unfortunately the konoha ninja didnt know they both were zombies who cannot be killed soo easy..
