Now seeing as animes/cartoons nowadays are either repetitive or just plain out boring. Lets recall the best intros from the olden days, when Toonami was still there. And lets not forget the 90s cartoons/anime also. =D


You can post any cartoon/anime intro you like that you think is worthy of being one of the best intros of all time. And you can also, classify which is the best intro for a specific series.


I'll start out with one of the most badass intros to be made in cartoon history (Even though dbz is called a anime, most called it a cartoon back in the days ahaha .) See this was the one that got you pumped up for them sundays, and you know sh*t was about to happen in the cartoon. =D

For some reason i always thought that the theme was too soft, compared to what was actually happening in the anime.

Not only that, whats with all these ugly animated cartoons on freaking Cartoon Network. lol.

Plus, don't you feel that the openings can give a whole new perspective to how someone watches that anime?

Like if you compare the current theme of DBZ Kai , vs the original that toonami had. I don't think i would've been that into DBZ just because of that opening. lol.

I totally agree with how theme songs and the music in general helps perceive a show for the better....omg Dragon Ball Kai SUCKS cause of the lame voices and music
