Each made fatal mistakes.

Hashirama let Madara live.

Tobirama mistreated the Uchihas.

Hiruzen let Oro live.

Tsunade-- well she didn't do anything wrong.

Minato's short Hokage career was flawless. He died sealing Kurama inside his child and defeated Obito.

Thank you omfg. He was going to appoint Madara as Hokage I mean seriously that is such a show of poor judgement I cannot even.

Tobirama definitely.
Minato was pretty good too, considering he saved the village from the Kyuubi. And he was just cool overall.

Hashirama wanted to appoint Madara as Hokage because Madara was a proven leader; close in ability to himself, furthermore it would have strengthened the relations between the Senju & Uchiha, it also offered the chance for people to see the Uchiha in a different light; all factors he pointed out, do not make it out to be a snap decision, it was diplomatically calculated but not democratically correct something which Hashirama himself acknowledged.

On another note Tobirama's bigotry caused more damage to the village than any good he ever accomplished, Tobirama is among my favorite characers, but his inability to empathize instead of rationalize; directly resulted in the creation of the greatest's threats to Konoha/the Shinobi World & deprived Konoha of their most powerful assets, as his distrust in the Uchiha & position as the likely successor to Hashirama spurred Madara to defect, which led to the Valley of the End, Obito's corruption, & the formation of Akatuski which in turn led to Kurama's attack (which claimed the 4th Hokage) & Konoha's destruction by Pain during his assault & ultimately the 4th Shinobi World War, not to mention the revolt of the Uchiha which led to their massacre & the exile of one of Konoha's greatest shinobi (Itachi), both who could have assisted in defending against Orochimaru's assault & possibly prevented the 3rd Hokage's death. In hindsight Tobirama's greatest contributions were the infrastructures he founded, but even those were expansions of ideas originally conceived by Hashirama & Madara. Tobirama's way was flawed & his influence minimal when compared to Hokages like Hashirama, Hiruzen, & even Minato, while his legacy is the oppression of the Uchiha & the Edo Tensei, which has been used to slay countless shinobi of the Leaf.shodaimeicon:
