Honestly I love the Hashirama/Madara flashbacks but when it comes to the topic of friend vs. friend meh I have mixed feelings. Kishi reinterates a lot of things but that's why I label the manga as one dealing with parallels for the most part. I usually look to different manga for different things so difference isn't necessarily bad (although I can't say I like reading manga with the same theme as one I've already read because of that).

what japanese show or manga doesnt have best friends fighting each other lol and would have liked 4 madara to be just a killing machine and hashi stopped him but i think kishi wants 2 make his readers chose a side between hashi and madara. maybe hashi killed izuna or tobirama killed izuna and hashi took his brothers side hopefully we find out soon tho and get back to the main story

Kishi is just trying to show a good side of Madara. Every good writer knows that a Villain can't be straight out evil. There has to be a climax that makes them corrupt.

Agreed. I am more interested in Madara, knowing he was once sensible and kind, before that I found his character boring.
