Best Final Fantasy you ever played or JRPG.

I've been playing Tales of Vesperia

FF7 FF8 and XIII recently again and I can't decide which is the best. I really love 8 and 7 in comparison to XIII's mediocre story but really what do you guys think?

I loved 7 and 10, liked 8 and 9. And 13 was a let down for me. Waiting for Versus now that they said they will reveal the release date on E3 this year, especially since they said that Versus will be combination of 7 8 9 10 story, environments, mounts, flying etc. We shall see.

But FF7 and FF10 for me.
7 had most awesome story ever. 10 had the awesome openworld exploring.

have you played FFX - International? i LOVE FFX , was my favourite as a child by far. Good soundtrack and story for sure. Characters were relatable as well. My fav char had to be auron.

I liked Auron aswell. Tidus would have been good but his voice irritated me Lol

I have not, I have tried some demos and such for other games, but I only really ever played this one when I was a kid. So I'm not really a huge fan of the games or anything.

ff7 and ff8 are equal, but like more of the characters in 7, ff8 underrated, ff7 overrated

ff7 crisis core underrated

ff9 i am still playing, i am trying to get perfect stats :'(

And yea, battle system is what I love in 13. Would be awesome to have that in 10, well 10-2 had the core for 13 battle system

Youtube final fantasy X International . there are so many more optional bosses. To me when I was 11 years old I honestly hated how easy FFX was. I annihilated all bosses and got bored at the arena. FFX International has dark aeons and penance with a new sphere grid. It was fantastic

Agree agree and agree! haha I haven't played FF9 because I just hated how the characters looked tbh . Im playing 8 again at work when I get the chance. I love the gameplay but junctioning is almost cheap . Crisis core was fantastic as well.

FF7 and FF10 are my undeniable favorites! FF9 is good as well, and FF8's story was good but the junction system was absolutely garbage! FF12 got kinda boring even though I loved the combat mechanics, and I really haven't gave FF13 a shot.

Junction system is a cheat lmfao. honestly. 7 and 10 yup yup. 9 ugh I'm hearing good things about it but I hate how ugly it looks LOl. Zidane has a tail and that angers me. I may end up giving it a go. is it similar to ff7 with materia? ff 1 with purchasing magic or ff10 sphere grid?

Ill have to youtube it! but vesperia is great. You should try a final fantasy sometime. I find the tales series is corny but FF is a mature JRPG which is cool!

Ahah true, there are some moments where I laugh a little due to it, but it´s a very good game, with a special charm to it.
I will give FF a try one day

And Dark Souls is a recent game..very unforgiving, which I like.

will take 3-4 months till ff14 relaunch is ready, id say look up some vids but keep in mind that they are upgrading that version by tons, not sure when ps/pc open beta is supposed to happen
