2. Just because everyone in this thread said they enjoy the fight (so far), doesn’t mean that everyone else does or will like it too. I could care less if they did enjoy the fight. Good for them.

Yes, but you implied you did through your sore butt. You went asscrack over my comment just because I dislike a scene. 1. Shira was just a copy-cat character of Lee. The fight had no impressive taijutsu scenes and it was all just landing kicks and blows. Madara's filler taijutsu was way more creative and better than this shit. Not to mention, the animation was horrendous and made everything looked choppy.

2. Gai vs. Madara was way different. Gai wasn't going toe-to-toe with Madara. He needed assistance from Kakashi, Gaara, and Minato to land a hit. Madara tanked all his blows, and was going to kill him until Naruto arrived.

1. It's funny how you love to classified Shira as a rippoff when you can't even distinguish between the two. I knew some people would complain about Shira's version of the 8 gates but the fact is that Shira has 7 Heavnly breath while Lee has 8 and his ability is completely different compare to Lee . Shira body is able to receive larger doses of oxygen it invigorates the body and simulate an amped or pumped feeling. So it was a pretty cool idea, in the end. Plus they implemented the owl technique, The silent fist and muffling sound with chakra made sense, and the boxing part made sense too.

Air, Breath, Land of the Wind. Does that ring to you?? They both have different style of fighting is very creative and unique way to implement this taijutsu.

Don't get me wrong, Madara vs Gai is probably better fight, but this is FILLERS we're talking about and that fight was full of action packed and quick paced full of thrills which lasted for almost entire episode. The problem with what you listed is that chirkara fight only lasted for few seconds or couple of minutes. While this episode may have some of those Filler qualities, it excels in many area's where even the main storyline dumps. The fight animation near the end was top-notch, you rarely get to see Lee let loose like he just did in Shippuuden anymore, Lee fight never failed to impress.

2. Gai was going toe to toe for the "most part" but they spice it up by having assistance with more strategic , while madara gets alot of beat down and still attempt to counter but Gai still did most of the job which is why everyone praises him because gai is the one that brought the epicness to this fight.

Nice AMV, and I agree that fight was truly epic. Why can't this series have more fight like this??? Anyway personally, I think this is the best filler arc we have, since ANBU.
