Anime stopped after the Maximum Tournament Saga. In the 3rd Manga series Baki: Son of Ogre he does have an epic battle with his father. It ends with his father giving him the title of strongest while Baki admits defeat. There is a fourth series currently going on. I just wish they continued the Anime.

I kinda want Yujiro to lose. He's my favorite and all, but I he's just way to cocky.

I know he says he "lost" to Baki, but I don't consider it a real loss.

The way I interpreted it was that when Baki reaches Yujiro's age, he'll be much stronger than the current Yujiro. But at the moment, he's not actually stronger, he just has more potential.
