[Question] Best Fighters in Pirate Warriors 3

From those you've unlocked which are your most preferred fighters and who were you rather disappointed with?

My list goes like(preferred):

-Luffy, Zoro, Smoker, Sabo, Law, and Crocodile, those are all from what I've unlocked yet.

WB and Ace were a bit disappointing imo, though with WB you can still make some good use of Quake Quake no Mi by spamming R1 and X, but otherwise both were disappointing. You've probably got Doflamingo, shanks and Rayleigh and all, which ones are the best? Luffy's style is the best given the way the game plays(dynasty warriors kind) if you ask me.

I haven't played it yet, unfortunately. But I'm happy to see that Smoker is a good character. Is Blueno playable at all?

Rayleigh's not in the game. Doffy and Shanks are good once you get them to the 20's then their Conqueror's attacks are a lot stronger. My favorites are Sabo and Fujitora both of whom were amazing. I haven't used Aokiji yet but he was my go to in PW2 along with Franky. My favorite SH's are Luffy and Franky and Robin w/Clutch(I think it was pre skip) I'm disappointing with Sanji and Brook but i was in PW2 too and they didn't change.

No only Lucci from CP-9 and Smoker was good in PW2 haven't used him in 3 yet but I don't think they really changed much for attacks from 2 to 3 so I imagine he's still good.

Tashigi is my favourite lol

I actually think she's more powerful than zoro in this game

Sanji might be the most OP SH...only competition is Luffy, I dont know how you can be dissapointed with that.

I'm not good with his all over the place fighting style same with Brook. They move across the screen too much in their combos for me to control them as well. I like Franky's radical beam special and his square square triangle combo it's good at crowd clearing.

Fujitora really is, I play on hard and I'm only at lvl 30 ish with him and his R1 meteor drop kills almost everything. Takes all but about 2 hits from bosses and kills minor bosses in their boost mode in 1 hit.

has anyone played with lucci ? or meghallan? or caesar those r most i want to play with bar doffy (whom i got early on via dream world) oh yeah and fuji and shanks .. lol

But thats what makes him really good, he clears off the entire area. The trick is if you don't want your enemies flying all over the place just spam his skywalk right after your combo it literally brings you right to them, you can keep looping a combo and sky walk repetitively, its why he's so cheap.

Lucci is one of the most well done characters in the game. Love how they incorporated his Zoan form, the transition is beautiful.

It's not the enemies it's him when I try to use him and have him attack to the left it feels like he does this weird 3/4 circle movement through the air and never seems to go where I'm trying to get him. Plus his finishers were kind of meh, I really wanted to like him more I just don't. I agree about Lucci I like the switch ability, I had hoped the rumors about freely switching things had come through all the way though rather than just Lucci, there was talk that you could switch between gears and swords with Luffy and Zoro respectively. It would have been neat for Luffy to have 3 move sets, base, press R1 once to activate Gear 2, press it again for Gear 3.
