Gurren Lagann has already been listed as Tengen Toppa I think. I started watching samurai champloo but I did not quite like it, so I droped it (The one with mugen, right?)
Steins gate is another "To watch" anime.

Yes it's the one with Samurai Mugen. I liked it because it was so chill to watch (like cowboy bebop), the main characters were nice and with the great soundtracks it made an awesome atmosphere. But i can understand that it's not for everyone.

You should def watch Steins;Gate soon! It really deserves it's high rating.

OT: The ending of Barakamon was nice

Full metal alchemist. Despite its seemingly simple plot, it actually has a lot of philosphical questions, its ending is a prime example of that.

I feel the Yu Yu Hakusho ending was rushed, Code Geass probably has the best.

Yeah, I heard it beforehand, too, but it still wound up being my second-favorite series ever. Trust me, it's worth it no matter what you know going into it (and if it helps, if you get an ending spoiled, just think of the episodes leading up to it as a prequel, giving you insight into everything that led up to that finale).

I'm naming series as a whole who actually ended not the anime, The anime only had one arc. To me is best yes : )
