I used to use IDM, short for Internet Download Manager. It claims to speed up your downloads by 500%. I doubt it ever will, though. You can't possibly download faster than what your Internet provider offers. (Actually, there are ways which I'm not allowed to tell as it's illegal)

So in short, no, there is no way, unless you want to do it the illegal way and risk being added on a global Internet Service Provider Blacklist.

No, illegal as in reconfiguring the modem by flashing it. Not only will your Internet Service Provider demand all the money back for the speed you have been using the past X time (note, it's a guess they only will be allowed to make. If you used the extra speed for only 1 day, they will be able to say you've been using it for a month and they can rightfully take that amount of money for it), you will also be added on a global black list for Internet Service Providers. Meaning that you won't be getting Internet anymore from anybody.
