Best Close Combat fighter

I wasn't even specifically speaking about you. You're not the only one who said Madara. It was a general response. Regardless, you can't base Madara's Taijutsu ability on something that never actually happened (Filler in the anime).

You have a point, but it's not like we see much of the close range fights in the manga.

3.)Lee same as guy i think he can go up to 7 or 6
4.) Raikage or Tsuande
These 5 All specialize in close range combat and ALWAYS try to stay close.

Madara is good at taijutsu you think Hashi could have not do what madara did or naruto

That's because in the current situation we have Demi-Gods and Gods (Hashirama, Madara, Obito, Naruto) just firing off massive attacks. Taijutsu would be futile in the face of such monstrous and superior techniques.

I'm surprised only one person has mentioned Obito. How can you hit something if you phase through it? One touch and he'll either warp you with Kamui or rip your soul out with Human Path.

Who in your opinion is the best fighter when it comes to close combat fighting? Basically Taijutsu, but with other close range attacks.

I'm stuck between choosing Naruto in Sage Mode, and Might Guy, as they both are great at fighting at close range.

Might Gai even admitted back in chuunin exams that Rock Lee's taijutsu is superior to his.

No the managa just can't be bothered drawing all that ****ing taijutsu alone obviously. The anime is usually the manga's intentions..

Yes, but comparing part 1 Guy, to the Might Guy right now, it's a huge change. I can't see Lee going head to head with Bijuu like Guy did with Kakashi.

IMO: Tsunade, Lee, 3rd and 4th Raikage and Bee. I would have said Neji but I don't think hes quite as good as Lee. Kimimaro is also amazing for a plain 'Naruto' character. Madara IF you include the anime. There are more but I think these are probably the best

Based upon manga feats I agree, Madara does not seem to be as high as the ones you mentioned. Sure he might be a great fighter, and could easily defeat Gai or Lee, but it wouldn't be with close range combat.

So if studio pierrot makes a filler about sakura beating sasuke up with taijutsu only, would be legit? or canon material?

I'm not completely discrediting him as a Taijutsu fighter at all. But to compare to him monsters like Lee and Gai? I don't think so.

This has been answered, while Madara may be a great fighter, majority of his abilities do not involve close range fighting. The characters that were mentioned are superior to Madara in that aspect, but not overall as a fighter.
