Kirin isn't a type of Chidori. It's a whole new jutsu

kakashi has raikiri which is the upgraded version of the chidori which sasuke uses and all the variants.
raikiri has better penetration and cuts better.
and then there is all the other raikiri variants like running lighting hound or lighting chain.
